FAYE TRICKETT — Contemporary Sculptor & Artist

Faye Trickett is a Cleethorpes based contemporary artist working across sculpture and painting, with a focus on figurative form, surface and material tension.

Her practice explores the body as both structure and surface, a threshold between vulnerability and resilience. Balancing figurative reference with intuitive form, she creates contemporary sculptures and mixed media works that retain the trace of touch, allowing process, alteration and physical interaction to remain visible within the finished piece.

Themes of exposure, containment and transformation underpin her work. Surfaces appear stretched, protected or unsettled, held in a quiet tension that invites close, physical viewing.

Trickett holds a First Class Honours degree in Special Effects Makeup Design and is currently completing an MA in Fine Art at Falmouth University. Her background in special effects informs a precise understanding of material behaviour, surface manipulation and the psychological impact of texture.

Alongside larger sculptural works, she produces small scale limited edition pieces, offering collectors access to her practice in a more intimate and collectable format. Her work appeals to collectors of contemporary figurative sculpture and tactile, materially driven art.
