JODIE GRICE — Contemporary Abstract Artist

Jodie Grice is a Sheffield based contemporary abstract expressionist artist creating instinct driven paintings defined by movement, colour and emotional intensity.

For over 18 years, her practice has centred on release, using painting to process lived experience and transform it into bold, high impact work. There is no overthinking, just energy, momentum and colour leading the way.

Working primarily with acrylic and textured surfaces, Jodie creates original abstract paintings that turn difficult moments into something powerful and visually uplifting, shifting struggle into colour and optimism. Each piece begins with a feeling and unfolds intuitively, resulting in work that feels immediate, expressive and impossible to replicate.

Alongside raising four children, she has built a growing international collector base across the UK, Europe and the USA. Her work includes two UK solo exhibitions, over ten group shows, and appearances at The Talented Art Fair (Brighton) and Fusion Art Fair (Harrogate), with features in GQ, The World of Interiors, Home & Garden and London Life.

Jodie’s paintings are unapologetically direct, offering collectors contemporary abstract art that is emotionally charged, accessible and designed to make an impact in modern interiors.
