Dogma is a North East Lincolnshire based spray paint artist working between street intervention and contemporary public art. Rooted in place and collective memory, their practice transforms everyday environments through bold colour, graphic immediacy, and a distinctly accessible visual language.

Maria is a Cleethorpes-based artist and designer working under the studio name Fearn by Design. Originally trained as a textile designer, her career spans interiors, branding, and visual identity, alongside work as a creative consultant and educator.

Her practice is rooted in place, drawing inspiration from the coastal landscape. Maria’s work explores the relationship between people and place, shaped by the scale, movement, and emotional pull of the ever-changing coastal sky.

Steve Dixey — Photographer

“Where the sea retreats, hidden worlds appear.”

For more than fifty years, Steve has walked the tidal margins of the Lincolnshire coast, working where land briefly gives way to sea. Photographing remote foreshores between The Humber and The Wash, he captures landscapes and fragile ecosystems revealed only for moments at low tide before disappearing again beneath the water. Rooted in lived experience rather than observation from afar, his work offers an intimate and rarely seen portrait of a coastline shaped by patience, weather and time.

Faye Trickett

Faye Trickett is a Cleethorpes based artist working across sculpture and painting. Her practice examines the body as both structure and surface – a threshold between vulnerability and resilience. Balancing figurative reference with intuitive form, she works with materials that retain the trace of touch, allowing process and alteration to remain present within the finished work.

Themes of exposure, containment and transformation underpin her practice. Surfaces appear stretched, protected, unsettled or held in quiet tension.

Trickett holds a First Class Honours degree in Special Effects Makeup Design and is currently completing an MA in Fine Art at Falmouth University. Her background in special effects informs a precise understanding of material behaviour and the psychological weight of surface.

Alongside larger works, she produces smaller editions that extend her investigation of form through a more intimate scale.

Kazya Gillbanks

Jason Carlisle BA (Hons)

Jason Carlisle is a contemporary British figurative artist whose work explores the space between academic realism and expressive abstraction. Specialising in portraiture, his paintings combine technical precision with instinctive mark making, creating works that feel both emotionally raw and deeply human.

Carlisle began painting in 2009 after being inspired by an article on Lucian Freud. He later studied People and Portraits, continued into Life Drawing, and graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art Practice.

Working primarily in oils on large scale canvas and panel, Carlisle is fascinated by the psychology of the face, skin tones, and human expression. Some works are highly detailed and observational, while others embrace looser, more experimental brushwork, allowing movement, atmosphere, and emotion to emerge naturally through the surface.

His process combines classical drawing techniques with an intuitive approach to paint, balancing control with freedom. Rather than simply capturing likeness, Carlisle aims to reveal something deeper within the subject, creating portraits that feel intimate, expressive, and psychologically engaging.
