Red Skies is a body of work exploring the saturated colour, shifting light, and layered depth of the coastal sky. Inspired by the constantly changing atmosphere above the shoreline, the works draw on the dramatic silhouettes of coastlines and buildings set against expansive, luminous horizons.

Created using mixed media, textured grounds, and metallic finishes, each piece has a strong tactile presence. Surfaces catch, absorb, and reflect light, changing subtly as the viewer moves — echoing the restless, reflective nature of the coast itself.

Rooted in the visceral experience of walking along the beach, Red Skies responds to the physicality, scale, and emotional charge of the coastal landscape, capturing moments where light, land, and sky collide.
